shucks. oh shucks. my homework's been piling up like crazy. ever since i left it to rot in the back of my bookshelf.

okay okay, i need to calm down. geez, who stole my holiday. when the hell does school reopen anyways? was it the third or second. oh well. enough about that.


i would now attempt to influence all of you to use proper english for the rest of your blog posts after reading the following.

i figure its a good habit to cut with the singlish. it makes me feel really uneasy when labels are so easily slapped on singaporeans just because of the way we speak. its not always you get to travel on your own & have others be brutally honest with you when you're the only kid around.

& it was brutally brutally honest.

can you imagine during the host stay back in japan when the host invites his friends over & they go up to me & say "wow, so you obviously speak english in singapore. i didnt know what to expect". an adult caucasian male tells me, after fourteen years of my life & education that he didnt expect that he'd be able to comprehand the words i say. hurts alright.


dammit, language kills.
& you'll never realise what hit you.
